What we're looking for

The Consultant will take the lead on assessing current RTAID communications with a view to ensuring the Charity communications are appropriately edited to a high standard. You will advise on Project communications, content creation as well as proofreading. This is an opportunity to work in a highly autonomous role, with a view to ensuring that the ethos of the Charity is fully reflected in the public sphere.

The Consultant will be based remotely.

Responsibilities

Data Visualisation services (including editing, copywriting, creative input)

  • Edit reports as necessary
  • Copywriting communications
  • Edit google translated documents
  • Advise on content creation including web content
  • Advise on tools to be used for engagement purposes
  • Training, and advising data outputs

Qualifications

Skills Required:

●      Superb native level English skills with an expert communications background

●      Experience working in a communications role at a senior level

●      A high level of motivation and ability to work independently

●      Experience of the humanitarian aid sector

●      Advanced social media platform skills and deep understanding of landscape of social media

Preferred:

  • Experience of the humanitarian aid sector
  • English language or other humanities degree
  • Advanced social media platform skills and deep understanding of landscape of social media

You will work directly with the CEO, with the ability to exercise a large amount of autonomy within your role.

ASAP Consultancy contract, competitive Daily rate. €11,250 (incl. VAT) in Total.

About Us

RealtimeAid leadership team is diverse, consisting of Arabic speakers, women, as well representative of different ethnic groups, and technical skill sets. The services of the organisation is one grown out of grassroots and community work, with a focus on getting rid of the paperwork for micro-organisations who are often the immediate responders to local crises.

RTAid works with refugee communities and particularly traumatised children and youth using arts, sports, informal education and creates safe spaces where there none. RealtimeAid’s mission is to localise aid. Ensuring decision- making sits where the need is. RealtimeAid makes it possible to remote manage projects in areas of crises whilst ensuring a true partnership structure.
