Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Manual Development Specialist for interviewing team members and external research. This role will primarily focus on the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Development of processes to enable transparent and participatory decision-making in conflict areas.
  • Creation of a Risk and Safeguarding Protocol tailored for conflict and high-risk regions.
  • Conducting interviews with team members and external research to inform these processes and protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Relevant Bachelor's/Master's degree, e.g., International Development.
  • Experience: Proven program development experience, especially in conflict zones.
  • Interviewing and research skills preferred.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant languages a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills for diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data tools and aid software.
  • Cultural Sensitivity: Ability to work in multicultural settings, especially in conflicts.
  • Commitment: Dedication to local empowerment and humanitarian work.
  • Flexibility: Adaptability in dynamic environments.
